Rating books

How do you guys feel about the rating system for music, tv, games, etc? Do you look at them and think, "Oh, wow, I am happy I knew the rating." OR do you not even bother with the rating? I am curious because I want to get my book out there but I want a rating system on it. I know it's not going to change everyone else and their publishing, but I think it should be on books. If I want a spicy book, I want to see the M for mature, or if I want a Y/A for sure without spice, then I am going to look for the PG or TEEN rating. However, since I am self-publishing, I have creative control. I need to have the final say. If you want to tell me, please go vote on my Tiktok so I can know what to choose.
