About Me
Background & More
I’ve been writing and telling stories ever since I was a young child. I completed my first book at sixteen, and the novel was over 80,000 words, which I had looked up at the time to be the standard for publishing books. I wanted that book published, but looking at it now; I know it wasn't any good, but it taught me that I can finish a book, so I kept going. Many of my influences come from anime, books, and music.
I am able to draw, cook, and cosplay. Things that can take up a lot of time but I make it work with my life. I am currently working as well, so I have a 9-5 job, then write, while I work in other projects, family and life.
Music

Music has always been a great asset for writing for me. Whether it's a fast paced song to help me with the fight scenes, or some soft tones to help convey pain, or even love, music helps set the mood. Writing with the music helps me figure out what kind of mood I need to convey and when I edit without music, I can see if I have done my job to convey that feeling without the music.

Anime/Manga
I grew up watching anime and reading manga, even though my mother disliked it. While I watched more story based. Some of the first loved animes I had the pleasure of was, in no particular order, Black Cat, Sailor Moon, DNAngel, MAR, Fruits Basket, Vision of Escaflowne, Skip Beat, just to name a few. Now those were the first ones I loved. None of them are ecchi, and mostly slice of life with maybe some magic.
My favorites now are, also in no particular order, Beyond the Boundaries, Vision of Escaflowne, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, Kings Avatar, Heaven's Official Blessing, Howl's Moving Castle, and Demon Slayer.
Anime has had a huge impact on how I tell stories, how I write fight scenes and if my book were to ever go to screen, I would want it to become an anime, not live action film with Hollywood actors.
