Threads, books and such

I finished my book, well for the second time. The Star of Zephyria has been officially rewritten for the second time and I am so excited. I went onto Threads and asked if anyone would like to be a beta reader. This is really scary for me because of old scars. Not to go into a trauma dump, but I had a lot of adults, and 'friends' that would read my stuff and tell me how awful I write. This scarred me to show anyone my stuff. Happily my mother was one of the BIGGEST encouragers I have, otherwise I probably would have never tried to be a writer. Another one is my best friend. I love them for continuing to show love to my work.

Recently I have been trying to find my community on Threads, which is amazing for just finding random people to connect with about random thoughts you have. It's not like Twitter yet which I enjoy. This is actually how I found a very sweet author to alpha read for me. I feel very nervous and embarrassed about the typos and problems in the book. I don't want them to edit it, but tell me if it's any good. If I should lock it in a vault or proceed to edit the book via professionals. They are still reading it, and I gave them no timeline. We will see what happens.

Another new kind of news. I will be making Premade Book Covers for a cheap price. I struggled with this thought for a while and probably won't make any sales but I wanted to try. It will be on Fiverr, just look for my name, blvangofficial
