Life has its Ups and Downs

So I know it's been a long time, but there was a death in the family. Nothing prepares how different your life changes. Everything you do reminds you of them, and nothing takes away the pain. My family also became a reddit post, which I am not going to share. But just know there is a post of AITAH about my family somewhere on there.

Moving onto more important things. I was planning on putting my book Nutcracker up for Christmas, but after all the things that happened, I will have to release it next year for Christmas time. It's a short novella, so it's not some grand thing but it is something I eventually want out. Some of my books are getting written, and some of them are getting rewritten, which is a horrible way to say they are getting closer to being published. Writing for me is an outline. Rewriting is the first draft, and something that will need to be fixed again with another edit before it hit development editing. Book writing is not a quick process when you have to do everything on your own. I don't have a paid development editor, just a lot of free beta readers, some family, some strangers.

Star of Zephyria does not have a release date but it will be the next book to come out. The next book after In the Depths Below is called In the Loch Below and it will take me some time to rewrite it. Mainly because it's not easy to make a new world for a new set of characters. I want the books to be a series and yet kinda be stand-alones. I love stand-alones and for now,...wait what should I call the series...Monsters Below Series? Kingdom Below Series? For now, In the Depths Below series will be the only one I will have. FOR NOW! I don't like absolutes and I never know if I want to write an amazing series later. You never know. So for now, it will be the only true series I write. All other books will be stand-alones. I know series make more money but I want to create books where there is a beginning and end in one go. I hate endings and I know book 5 of the Depths Below book will kill me to write.

I also want to state, I love writing easter eggs into all my books, and I do not like repeating names if I can help it. So if there is a name in one book of a main character and they are a random name you see in another book, I did that on purpose because it's fun.
