Life gets Messy

Hello EVERYONE!! Happy Easter if you celebrate it. My family does, but we didn't actually do Easter dinner on Easter...I went to the airport to drop some family off and then I cleaned and organized my mom's house. It was a Sunday, which my family tries to take off, mainly because it's the "end" of the week and we want to be rested for the rest of the week. I truly believe everyone should have a day where you truly enjoy yourself. No work, nothing that is going to frustrate you, so if you want to woodwork, go for it. But stop once you start feeling like you HAVE to. It's not resting then. Maybe pull out a mini project you can only devote so much time to, and do that. A passion project, whatever it is you want. In America, it's not easy to take rest. Many countries REQUIRE it, while American attitude is, if you did nothing, you're lazy. Which simply isn't true. Resting is vital to your life, health and mental wellbeing.
Spring break happened where I am, and I didn't rest as much as I wanted to, but I did finish a book, which I think is accomplishment enough. Means I had the ability to sit down and finish a 60k+ word book. I started another one...I was reading it really fast...then I got to 75% done with the book....and I lost all interest in it. WHY? It's probably because I couldn't stand the instant head over heels thing going on, or the "Everything they do is sexy" at 75 percent of the book! There was very little drama, which I wanted when I bought the book. I wanted a more cozy, romance book without being too much Hallmark status. I did get it, but the over inflation of love declaration....especially sooo early and easily...it grins on me a bit.
Anyways, I am still writing, I am trying to get there for you guys and hopefully I will have more exciting news for you guys! Don't forget to subscribe to my newsletter.
